We accept all major credit cards through Paypal for immediate posting. We also accept money orders and personal checks. If you choose to pay by check or money order, you are welcome to create your listing, but it won't post until your payment has cleared our bank.
BEFORE YOU GET STARTED:
1 - Have your snowmobile information handy such as the year, make, model, and selling price. When describing your vehicle, be sure to include the best features. Showcase your ad by using words such as "one owner, brand new, garage kept, fully loaded, best offer, one of a kind" etc. Also use the brand names of important accessories or parts that are included with the vehicle. Use complete sentences in your description if possible.
2 - Use a valid email address. You'll need an email address to complete the registration process as well as having a contact point for potential buyers toget in touch with you.
3 - Include a photo with your ad. Photos help sell! The more the better. They give the potential buyer a visual cue to inquire about your snowmobile. Please be sure that your photo is in .jpg or .gif format. Resize your photo so that it is no more than 100K so it will load quickly. Photos larger than 100k in size will not post.
4 - Be prudent in dealing with buyers. Buyers and Sellers should be prudent and careful in any exchange of money, contracts, legal documents, and written or verbal communications.
GENERAL TIPS FOR SELLING YOUR SNOWMOBILE:
1 - Learn the market value of your snowmobile. If your sled is in reasonable condition, you should be able to sell it for relatively close to its listed worth. Check the NADA price guide: Click here.
2 - Give your snowmobile a tune-up and cleaning. An enticing presentation will help lure a buyer. It is also a good idea to take your snowmobile for a ride yourself, if possible. That will help you anticipate any criticisms potential buyers may make when they test-ride it to try to get you to lower your price.
3 - Gather your service records and ownership documents. Providing a buyer with evidence of your diligent upkeep of the snowmobile will help you secure a better sale price.
4 - Take at least one photo of the snowmobile you want to sell. You'll have a far greater chance of success once you list your snowmobile online if you include a picture. For more tips on resizing photos, click here.
5 - Reach thousands of potential buyers by advertising online using our services. We have thousands of potential buyers checking our listings.
6 - Challenge potential buyers who claim your snowmobile is worth less than the value you found in Step 1. Query them on their sources and check them out on your own. Be patient and don't be pressured to sell to the first interested party.
7 - Sell to the buyer who offers you the best price. Make sure to get his full name and contact information, and to put the terms of the sale in writing.
